PILEX

INDICATIONS

Pilex is useful when the following symptoms are displayed:

Pilex tablet: Pilex tablet reduces the engorgement and turgidity of the veins and venous capillaries. By relieving hepatic congestion and portal pressure, Pilex tablet plays a facilitatory role in hepatic disorders associated with venous congestion. The anti-inflammatory and anti-infective actions reduce inflammation, check infection and promote healing. The laxative property of Pilex tablet corrects chronic constipation associated with hemorrhoids.

Pilex ointment: Pilex ointment, with its anti-inflammatory, anti-infective and anti-hemorrhoidal properties, helps to shrink the pile mass, control bleeding and hasten the healing process in inflamed skin and mucous membranes. The local analgesic action of Pilex ointment relieves pain, and the soothing action facilitates the smooth evacuation of feces.

INSTRUCTIONS

Use Pilex as directed by your doctor.

STORAGE

Store Pilex at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Pilex out of the reach of children and away from pets.

Ingredients (tablet): Indian Bdellium / Guggulu (Commiphora wightii Syn. Balsamodendron mukul),  Mineral pitch / Shilajeet, Nimba seeds (Melia azadirachta Syn. Azadirachta indica), Tree turmeric / Daruharidra / (Berberis aristata), Indian gooseberry / Amalaki / (Emblica officinalis), Chebulic myrobalan / Haritaki / (Terminalia chebula), Beleric myrobalan / Vibhitaki / (Terminalia bellirica), Indian laburnum / Aragvadha / (Cassia fistula), Orchid Tree / Kanchanara / (Bauhinia variegata), Cobra’s Saffron / Nagakesara / (Mesua ferrea).

Ingredients (ointment): Lajjalu (Mimosa pudica),  Bhringaraja (Eclipta prostrata Syn. E.alba), Nirgundi (Vitex negundo), Zergul (Calendula officinalis), Karpoora, Tankana, Yashad bhasma.

Do NOT use Pilex if:

• you are allergic to any ingredient in Pilex.

Some medical conditions may interact with Pilex. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:

• if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
• if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement

Pilex is not known to have any side effects if taken as per the prescribed dosage.
